A parkland excursion on and around the 1066 battlefield. This exclusive event will explore the abbey parkland as laid out by Lord Montague and later changed by the Websters and the Duchess of Cleveland. There will be much to explore and discuss, including natural history and evidence of human history from the occupation by the monks to the Canadian army in 1944. Bring boots, perhaps binoculars, and curiosity!
